The aim of this Centre is to provide a service for women/girls who find themselves unexpectedly pregnant and, for one reason or another, the pregnancy poses a problem for them.

People who come to the Centre can expect understanding and acceptance from women who have been trained in this specialist area. They are given emotional support and assistance to find an answer to their problem.

So should they decide to take the pregnancy to full term and have the baby, practical support is also offered, depending on the mother's needs and on availability. Free pregnancy tests are also offered.

The Abortion Grief Counselling Association runs a national crisis line which is being listed in the 24 hour emergency section in the front of all Australian White Pages. Its aims are:

promoting healing for those damaged by abortion;teaching health and welfare professionals about Post Abortion Syndrome so as to encourage active participation in preventing abortions; encouraging health professionals to develop their skills in identifying and treating abortion traums, The vast majority of pregnant women do not seek out pregnancy crisis centres for help; encouraging the community and health and welfare providers to take responsibility fo the part they play in abortion decisions; educating the community about the harm abortion is causing.

Survivors of Abortion Ltd is a non-profit Christian organisation offering help and information to all those who are suffering as a consequence of abortion, whether their own or someone else's, and whether a recent or long ago event.

We offer compassionate and genuine care to anyone who needs to talk through their experiences of abortion, or needing to make a decision concerning an unplanned pregnancy.

We understand that not everyone is able to make a truly informed choice and we want to do our part to change that, by providing relevant factual information and appropriate emotional support,to all those in crisis pregnancies.

We also know that many post abortive women are suffering in silence. We are here to lend an ear to those who would be silent no longer.
We do understand, we've been there.

We offer telephone and face-to-face counselling, as well as support groups as required.
